Horton’s EZ™ Loader Cocking Rope is one of those “I don’t care how hard you try, you can’t beat it,” items. It is reasonably priced, easy to use, dependable, adjustable to fit any Horton crossbow (except the reCon that comes with its own version), reduces the effort to cock your Horton crossbow by 50 percent, and it makes you a better shot. How can you beat that?
The EZ Loader Cocking Rope comes packaged with a special shoe that mounts on the back top of the sight bridge. Easy mounting instructions are included in the package. The heavy duty cord on the EZ Loader is designed to be tied off and cut to length for your particular bow need and size. Again, instructions are in the package. It’s easy.
Once the shoe is mounted on the bow and the rope is adjusted for your bow, it is a simple matter to place the rope in the groove of the shoe, go down over the bow and place the hooks on the bow string and then grip the handy “T” handlesand lift up and out as you stand up. You’ll be amazed at how easy cocking your bow becomes. Using the EZ Loader according to instructions in the package to cock your bow, the string will go into the latch in the same place each time, meaning more consistent arrow grouping.
