"Me and my 12 year old son are both satisfied Horton crossbow hunters. It was Nov.16th 2004. I had been home sick from work for two days. I didn't feel good at all, but was tired of lying around. I figured that I would sit in my tree stand and get some fresh air. I was in the tree about an hour, half just feeling like garbage, thinking to myself what were you thinking! I just wanted to be in bed. I leaned forward to pick up my back pack. When out of the corner of my eye I caught some movement. To my amazement this buck was coming straight at me. I leaned back closed my eyes and said Lord please let me get this dear! This buck walked within 15 yards. I took a deep breath clicked off the safety put the dot just behind his shoulder and, squeezed the crossbow trigger, this big boy never knew what hit him. It was so amazing that I forgot all about being sick. I've shot many different crossbows but nothing compares to my Horton!"
"I am 37 years old, I live in Streetsboro Ohio where I shot my deer. I've been hunting about 16 years. I took this deer with a Horton Dakota split limb. I have a red dot scope on it and it is right on as you can see. I would say that my crossbow skill level is average. I do love your crossbows and have passed my Dakota on to my 13 year old son. Yes, he has got several deer with his crossbow!"
