Mr. Hexter is a 41 year old intermediate crossbow user using a Horton Hunter Elite. On November 11, 2007 his daughter saw a buck in his backyard checking out a target doe. He dashed up to his bedroom, opened up the bedroom window, and was provided a perfect 20 yard broadside shot. He grabbed his Horton Hunter Elite crossbow, took careful aim, and landed a perfect double lung shot. The buck dropped within 30 yards after about a 5 second sprint and he recollects laughing about still being in his my pajamas. After dragging the 210+ pound buck about 500 yards, he was assisted in field dressing by his two daughters (at their request). Mr. Hexter can't wait to hang his trophy buck!
